Curt Shaffer, Chief Financial Officer
Curt Shaffer is responsible for the company's financial, legal and human resources teams. Curt's day to day functions include P&L and balance sheet oversight, financial modeling, overseeing all accounting related functions; creating and reviewing contracts, and attending to the needs of our most valuable asset - our people.
With over 22 years experience in corporate management, Curt has extensive knowledge of both finance and operations management. Curt has directed companies in manufacturing, financial services and marketing sectors. Curt feels strongly that his role as CFO with Vayan is one of support for the entire staff and he thrives on finding the resources that others need to accomplish their goals, as well as, helping them develop strategic plans for success.
Curt also has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions and building start-up businesses from their inception. Curt has a solid history of developing dynamic teams, restructuring business units, and leading financially challenged corporations back into the black. Curt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Ohio State University; obtained his Classified Clearance while performing work for the US Govt. and possesses multiple certificates of completion in Human Resources, Business Law, M.S. Project, and also enjoys Engineering and has been awarded multiple patents.
