Thomas Deters, CEO
Thomas Deters serves Vayan as the Chief Executive, offering nearly twenty years of media experience and marketing expertise. He is responsible for all aspects of corporate activity and strategic direction. His vision for Vayan focuses on the key elements of a consultative, synergistic market relationship with clients, identifying and building high quality, engaging data communities and providing customers with the highest ROI on Vayan products and services.
Thomas is recognized world wide as a former editor in chief, publisher and executive vice president of the world's largest health and fitness magazines Muscle & Fitness, Men's Fitness, Flex and Muscle & Fitness HERs. As such, he ran that company's largest and most profitable division to multiple, consecutive record years growing and managing hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. He has written hundreds of articles, given dozens of national TV and radio interviews and delivered seminars that reached tens of millions of doctors, military Special Operations Groups and health and fitness enthusiasts across the globe. In 1994 he became only the third recipient of the International Chiropractor's Association's Lifetime Achievement Award.
Thomas completed his academic studies with honors, earning both Doctor of Chiropractic and Human Biology degrees from the National College of Chiropractic. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan with a degree in sociology.
